These glasses incorporate liquid lenses that the wearer can manipulate using reservoir bulbs at the back of the temple arms to adjust magnification.

The lenses range from zero magnification to well beyond the diopter of typical reading glasses.

This is achieved by increasing the pressure inside the lenses, causing a flexible membrane on the front to increase in convexity.

The project was the final assignment for a desktop manufacturing class, for which it received the best in class award.
